This was a personal want of mine for a long time. I cannot tell you how long I have been looking for a matte blue eyeliner. It seems like they are so popular but everyone single one of the has sparkle or glitter!
This is a felt tip eyeliner. It's harder to use than your pen-like liquid eyeliners. You have to go over your line again because it's a little like a paint brush - it catches the product from inside the bottle and onto the tip. The felt tip is a little hard, so that takes time getting used to, but you can make a thick or thin line or a cat eye look.
However, the colour is bold yet flattering enough to wear ever day if you like. It's a matte royal blue. It has no shimmer or sparkle to it. It lasts all day. I've had no problems with this lasting compared to my normal liquid eyeliners. There doesn't seem to be a problem running either.
So, if you want a colourful matte liquid eyeliner this is the route to go. I've looked everywhere and this was the only one I found. If you have found any, let me know in the comments!

Tresemme Fresh Start Dry Shampoo
I know that everyone has those days where they are really tired, go to bed, wake up, and have greasy hair. It happens to all of us. Before I discovered dry shampoo, it meant that I would have to squeeze a shower into my morning routine or put my hair up and hope that nobody would notice.
Now, I've tried a few dry shampoos before and I really like this one. I found the Dove to last me four uses, and I've had the Tresemme one for about two months now. It does give my hair the appearance of being newly washed and it lasted all day. I don't mind the fragrance when I use it, but it doesn't last in my hair. I know that a lot of people have reviewed that it made their hair even more greasy, but I didn't see that at all.
My only quell is that it gives my hair an odd texture. I don't really know how to describe it, but it's definitely there. However, I will take the slight texture if it means that I can save 25 minutes in the shower and keep me from running late.
*Note* I have shoulder length, straight blonde hair

Benefit: Benetint
This was the last beauty item from the Snow White Kit. It was also another deluxe sample sized product.
This was one of the more interesting products in the kit. It's a stain for your cheeks and can double as a stain for your lips. It's very natural looking and wearable but it takes some time getting used to. It's extremely light and easy to put on.
It's not quite as pigmented as I'd like because I have to layer it to get the colour I want, and I don't have that much time to put on makeup most school mornings. It also leaves an odd feeling after, while you wait for it to dry. The only way I can describe it is like, waiting for tacky nailpolish or gel deodorant to dry but on your face.
The lasting power on this is great. I like to put a little on, let it dry, and then apply a powder over it. Once the powder wears off, this product is still there and it looks better with my fading makeup.
Overall, I think it's a good product - best if you don't wear much and want a little pop of colour or to wear in summer because it's extremely light. I don't know if I'd buy it again, but I will definitely try it out as it gets warmer.

Minx: Celeb Manicures in Silver Moons
These are really really neat. I've wanted chrome nails for such a long time and I when I saw these on sale at Ulta for $4.99, I snatched one. I've gotten compliments on my nails and they look so cool.
This is the first set of nail strips that I've seen that come with a set for fingers and toes. There are strips to fit the biggest and smallest of fingers and toes - 12 for toes and 16 for fingers. However, I found that I would be inbetween sizes, especially my big toes, so I had to be creative.
I found these to be relatively easy to apply. They were a little thicker than some other brands I've tried but I found that they last a longer. I've had the ones on my toes for 2 weeks now and they still look brand new. I'm really impressed. But when they do start to chip there is almost a layer of plastic on the top that is really annoying. I had to keep pressing it down, and the plastic would be there, but the chrome would be gone. So it never really chipped, per se. I just took off the rest with regular nail polish remover.
I still think that these are really cool and I would definitely buy them again. For a vacation week they would be super cute!

Quick Bath and Body Haul
Out and about when I saw the sales at Bath and Body! I couldn't resist...
I got a few candles that were on sale - a few holiday scents and some for spring and summer. Then, I went back and bought a body scrub. I figured, I need it for summer and it smells like the beach! Gosh, I am so ready for summer!!

(My favourite scents are the White Castle and the Black Pepper Bergamot)
Benefit: Bad Gal Mascara
This has been my main mascara now because I've ran out of my Clinique, I don't like to use my L'Oreal Double Extend mascara every day, and I need to go out and get some more.
This mascara is very nice and lasts the whole day. It doesn't flake and is very comfortable to layer and wear. It's a volumizing mascara and does give the appearance of fuller lashes. The formula is wet, but not too wet and it isn't drying at all. My lashes usually keep shape unless I'm going out at night, then I only reapply once.
As this is all about opinion, the brush is my only qualm. Personally, I don't like them this large but I have grown used to it. I find that spots of mascara get on the top of my eyelid when I apply and it's much harder to put mascara on my lower lashes. However, when I do like the smudging effect at the bottom, so I don't mind. Also, globs of mascara are particularly prone to stick to the end of the wand, and I always have to wipe it off.
If you don't like large wands or want to swap over from a skinny to a large one, it does take some time getting used to, but the product itself is good.

Benefit: High Beam
This was one of the samples I got in the beauty kit. It's the Benefit High Beam.
High Beam is really blendable and easy to use. It's very natural looking and comes in a small bottle with a brush. I find that it looks best without foundation or powder. It has a pinkish tint -for cool tones- and is flattering on most skin tones. It's a liquid highlighter and sets very quickly.
Unfortunately, for the money, I don't love this highlighter. I heard great things about it and really wanted, to find out that I have better highlighters. It doesn't exactly give me the dewey effect that I want unless I go barefaced and I don't care for the feel it gives when layered over foundation. It's a good highlighter, not a great one. I'll stick with the bareMinerals one.
