L'Oreal Colour Riche Nail Lingerie

Hi guys! I've been super busy lately preparing for the ACT and I just recently went to Prom which means that I've been a little MIA, but going to Prom meant stocking up with a variety of new beauty products to wear! This was even what I was wearing on my nails that night!

These strips have a gorgeous effect. They are gold flecks that start from the bed of the nail and then fade off. I layered the strip over a coral polish so that it would match my dress. They're easy to apply in that you just take the sticker off the piece of plastic and press them onto the nail. There are a variety of sizes so they fit all fingers. You can cut or file off the excess.

My one problem with this strip is that it's a plastic strip. Therefore, it at the tips of my nails where there would normally be chipping, the plastic comes up. This happened literally 12 hours after I applied them. It's not very nice to look at, I can't really cut or file it off, and it doesn't feel that nice. Unfortunately, this is a major downfall of the product and I wouldn't necessarily buy it again because of this.

L'Oreal Magic Smooth Soufflé Foundation

This is a really neat alternative to liquid or powder foundation. It's a mousse and is light and fluffy. When you apply, it leaves a silky texture to your skin. So, this foundation goes on really smooth and leaves a matte finish. You do not need to set it with a powder either. It covers up blemishes as well as your liquid or powder foundation and is classified as a light to medium foundation. This foundation is very buildable.

You can skip this product if you have very dry skin. It does show dry patches and is best on oily or combination skin. I would also advise you to use a flat top kabuki brush whenever you apply this foundations because it looks so much better than with a sponge or your hands. It stops the makeup from forming little balls as you put it on.

L'Oreal Voluminous Million Lashes Waterproof Mascara

I think that every single beauty guru or beauty blogger has one of these. They are constantly being raved about and it's claimed to be a fantastic mascara. Naturally, I wanted to try it out and bought the waterproof one in blackest black. I liked the brush because it isn't composed of hairs or fibers - it's rubbery and can separate the lashes easier and give great volume. However, I can honestly say that I really hated the formula. I don't like super wet mascaras because they take too long to dry but this one was like the Mojave Desert. It takes too many coats to get an even look and it is so drying! It flaked on me as soon as I put it on. Maybe I just bought from a bad batch but I will not be repurchasing to find out.

Look! Hardly any mascara sits on the bristles or the wand, even after pumping!

And a hint at what just arrived in the mail!
